SHS Accountability

In Colorado, school accountability committees make recommendations to the district accountability committee for school budgets, improvement plans, and principal evaluations. See CDE's site for more information. Since this group by definition seeks to engage and involve the community and parents, we would like to share our 2021-2022 meeting schedule and link with you.

The Salida High School SAC meets the first Tuesday of every month in person in the library of the Salida High School and remotely via the attached Google Meet at 5:30-6:30 PM. Meeting agendas are set in advance and can be seen on the school district’s website. If you have a concern regarding a building issue that you would like to have discussed at one of the following meetings, please contact either Talmage Trujillo (SHS Principal) or Jodi DeMoss (SHS SAC Chair). Meeting dates for the 21-22 school year are (all occur at the same time: 5:30-6:30 PM): September 7, October 11 (rescheduled from 10/5), November 2, December 7, January 4, February 1, March 1, April 5, and May 3.
