Families of Longfellow Elementary-
This week we’ve been practicing gratitude by simply saying “please” and “thank you.” It’s a little thing, but it matters. It shows we appreciate those who’ve helped us. It shows that we care about the person across from us. It helps us all and makes our community stronger no matter what differences we may have.
Bearing that in mind, as we head into Thanksgiving break I wanted to take a moment and thank each and every one of you for being the most important person in a kid's life. They are the future. We have amazing kids at Longfellow and that is thanks to you. Whether you are traveling or staying home, in a house full of people or having some time alone, please know that you matter. I’m thankful for you and your family. Thank you for trusting your kids to our care.

Familias de la Escuela Primaria Longfellow:
Esta semana hemos estado practicando la gratitud simplemente diciendo "por favor" y "gracias". Es algo pequeño, pero importante. Demuestra que apreciamos a quienes nos han ayudado. Demuestra que nos importa la persona que tenemos enfrente. Nos ayuda a todos y fortalece nuestra comunidad, sin importar las diferencias que podamos tener.
Teniendo esto presente, al acercarnos a las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias, quería tomarme un momento para agradecerles a cada uno de ustedes por ser la persona más importante en la vida de un niño. Ellos son el futuro. Tenemos niños maravillosos en Longfellow, y eso es gracias a ustedes. Ya sea que estén de viaje o en casa, en una casa llena de gente o disfrutando de un tiempo a solas, sepan que son importantes. Les agradezco a ustedes y a sus familias. Gracias por confiar el cuidado de sus hijos a nosotros.
