Families of Longfellow Elementary-
Other than a few make-ups, our statewide test, CMAS, is done. This is a herculean effort that requires technology, tons of staff, and a shift of our daily schedule. I am proud of our 3rd and 4th graders and the effort they put into this test and showing all they know. We had a hiccup with our internet on Monday and Tuesday, but the students handled it with flexibility and grace and we were able to get everyone back online, on their test, and testing. I want to say a big thank you to our students, families and teachers. This team is what makes Longfellow so great!
Looking ahead towards the end of our year, we have tons happening. On April 22nd, our 4th graders are invited to tour our middle school. We have our Hop Into Kindergarten event for our new crop of kindergarteners on April 29th. In May, we have our Art Show, music programs, field day, and a ton of field trips on the calendar. Tune in to your classroom teacher’s communications for the latest updates on all your student’s happenings.
If your child plans to attend Longfellow for the ‘26-’27 school year, please log in to Infinite Campus to sign a fresh set of forms and ensure accuracy of your address, contacts, and phone numbers. Thanks for doing this in advance of the next school year.

Familias de la Escuela Primaria Longfellow:
A excepción de algunas pruebas de recuperación, nuestro examen estatal, el CMAS, ha concluido. Este ha sido un esfuerzo hercúleo que requirió tecnología, una gran cantidad de personal y una modificación de nuestro horario diario. Estoy orgulloso de nuestros estudiantes de 3.º y 4.º grado, del esfuerzo que dedicaron a este examen y de cómo demostraron todo lo que saben. Tuvimos un pequeño contratiempo con nuestra conexión a internet el lunes y el martes; sin embargo, los estudiantes lo manejaron con flexibilidad y entereza, y logramos que todos volvieran a conectarse, accedieran a sus exámenes y continuaran evaluándose. Quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a nuestros estudiantes, familias y maestros. ¡Este equipo es lo que hace que Longfellow sea tan grandiosa!
De cara a la recta final de nuestro año escolar, tenemos muchísimas actividades programadas. El 22 de abril, nuestros estudiantes de 4.º grado están invitados a realizar un recorrido por la escuela secundaria (Middle School). El 29 de abril celebraremos nuestro evento "Hop Into Kindergarten" (Salto al Jardín de Infantes) para nuestra nueva promoción de estudiantes de preescolar. En mayo, tenemos en el calendario nuestra Exposición de Arte, programas musicales, el Día de Campo y una gran cantidad de excursiones escolares. Manténganse atentos a las comunicaciones de los maestros de sus hijos para recibir las últimas actualizaciones sobre todas las actividades en las que participarán sus estudiantes.
Si su hijo tiene previsto asistir a Longfellow durante el año escolar 2026-2027, por favor inicie sesión en Infinite Campus para completar y firmar el nuevo conjunto de formularios, y para verificar que su dirección, contactos y números de teléfono sean correctos.
