Dear ECC Families,
It is hard to believe it is already March. As we welcome spring, playtime at the ECC is becoming even more fun!
I want to extend a sincere thank you to the families who participated in home visits last week. These visits are required for our Head Start funding and serve as a vital part of our program. They provide a valuable opportunity to build stronger connections with your family. Research consistently shows that strong relationships between teachers and families lead to better outcomes for children, and we appreciate you welcoming our staff into your homes.
This month, we are also preparing for fall enrollment. For families with children heading to kindergarten (turning five prior to August 1st), please know we are working closely with Longfellow Elementary to plan activities that support this transition. Please look for additional information soon and contact us with any enrollment questions. Lastly, if you know of a family interested in enrolling their child in preschool next year at ECC, please let us know.
