Blood Drive: A Tremendous Success!
Thursday's all-day Blood Drive, sponsored by the National Honor Society, exceeded expectations! The Red Cross aimed for 20 units of blood, and thanks to our community's incredible generosity, we collected 39 units. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this vital event. The next Blood Drive will be on Monday, November 3rd.
Cell Phone Policy Pilot: May 5-8
We will conduct a trial run of the 2025-2026 school year cell phone policy from May 5-8. Students will receive advisory lessons beforehand to understand the policy's rationale.
During the trial, the following policy will be enforced:
Students should leave their phones at home or keep them turned off and stored in backpacks between the time students enter the building until 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
If a student's cell phone is visible or in use, staff will confiscate the phone and notify administration.
Administration will contact parents to pick up the cell phone from the front office at the end of the school day.
Junior Parent Information Night: Monday, May 5th at 5:30 PM
School Counselors will share resources and discuss the college application process in the library.
Fund Your Friends' Farewell Flea Market: May 8th, 4-6 PM
Seniors will sell clothes and other items in the far student parking lot to raise money for their future endeavors. Support the Class of 2025 and find great deals! Contact senior Reese Daugherty for more information.
