For new families to the district, I like to send out a weekly update on athletic schedules and share other information as needed. Watch your email and the website and app for these updates.
This Week: Fall sports have begun with boys' golf in Colorado Spring on Thursday, 8/21, and the girls' varsity volleyball team hosting a tournament over the weekend. Athletic Trainer: Thanks to a partnership with HRRMC, we have a new Athletic Trainer this year, Ana Fraijo (anastacia.fraijo@hrrmc.net). Athletes - it is very important for her to know of any medical needs. Please communicate to her or your coaches any concerns or relevant medical history.
Spartan Gear: This year the Athletic Booster Club has an online store where you have a large variety of options to choose from. There is also an option of ordering team specific gear, including Marching Band and Choir. Visit the store here.

Season Passes
are available in the SHS and SMS front offices: Adults $40, Students $20. These are valid for all SHS and SMS home games for the entire school year.
NFHS Channel: Did you know that all contests held in the Main HS Gym and in Spartan Stadium are live streamed on the NFHS Channel? What a great way for our fans to watch the Spartans! I would encourage everyone to subscribe so you can have access to contests across the country.
92.3 The Peak: For those wanting to listen to Salida Spartans in action, the home varsity games are broadcast on 92.3 The Peak.
Finally, I want to encourage all fans to remember we cheer for the Spartans and NOT against our opponents.
