Quote of the Week:
“What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” - Zig Ziglar
Thank you:
Each week the activities department will highlight a group of people who help make our activities department run. This week we would like to thank our coaches. Our district is blessed with so many amazing coaches that push our students to be great in and out of the classroom. Coaches at the high school and middle school level make very little pay, are constantly scrutinized, and often donate so much unpaid time to our student athletes. Not many people are willing to step up and do what they do. Make sure you thank the ones who do!! We could not have student activities without them!

AD’s Remarks:
We have several home events this week. Please come out and cheer on our student athletes. On Tuesday our #13 ranked girls soccer team will host the #3 ranked BV girls soccer team. It should be a great game! At halftime we will celebrate our winter champions!
Our winter champions are all very deserving of the awards and recognition that they have been receiving. However, the real reward is the personal growth that each has gained over the years of setting goals, coming up with a plan to reach their goals, and then putting in the hundreds of hours it takes to reach those goals. These student athletes should be an example to all of us! It is never too late to set a goal, make a plan, and then start putting in the work to achieve that goal! Go Spartans!
