Shout outs/Results:
SHS Cross Country: The runners not going to Regionals competed in their Final Meet of the Season at the Eric Wolfe Invite in Monte Vista. Our runners completed a tough 5K+ circuit to finish their year!
Boys Soccer: Defeated Manitou 3-1 on Senior Night! That win set them up to play for the conference Championship this week! Congrats to our Boys who are holding on to that #2 Spot in the CHSAA rankings.
Girls Volleyball: Won their only match of the week 3-0 against Woodland Park. They currently sit in a 3 way tie for 1st in the Tri Peaks League.
Football: Scored the more points in a loss against #4 Colorado Springs Christian than any other school on their schedule this season.

Middle School Roundup: Boys basketball Season is here! Games start this week. Good luck to our boys as they start the season at home this week with Games against Woodland Park and BV!
AD’s Remarks:
This week we get to celebrate Senior Nights for our many fall programs as Fall is winding down/Ramping up depending on your perspective. Friday night at halftime of the Football game we will take a minute to recognize all of the Seniors who participated in sports this fall.
As we do so I think back to my memories from HIgh School Sports and the memories I made there. The things that stand out the most are not the scores, but the camaraderie and time spent with my teammates and coaches over the years. As I read our Seniors favorite memories, many of theirs are the same as mine, the bus rides, early workouts, and times teammates/coaches made a fool of themselves. It’s a great reminder why we participate in High School Athletics and Activities, because the fun we have on the court/field with our high school friends is hard to replicate anywhere else!
