Crest students at Leadville ice rink

students at CMC signWe had a great trip to Leadville where the students were able to see what it's like to be a college student for a day! Upon arrival, we were greeted by CMC staff who gave us an introduction to the programs and opportunities that they offer. After the introductions, CMC staff gave the Crest a tour of campus which included the snow making building, their newly added terrain park, dormitories, the library, and their newly added Discovery Education Center. The Crest ended their tour with lunch provided by CMC in their cafeteria.

After CMC, we spent the rest of the afternoon skating at the Huck Finn Ice Rink. It was fun to watch everyone learn a new skill or improve their ice skating! We want to send a big "thank you" to parent chaperones Lane Wilson and Amber Barnett for joining us on the trip.
