From September 21st to the 23rd, we had a great trip to Lake Pueblo, camping, paddleboarding, learning and exploring! During this trip, not only did we sleep in a campsite right next to the lake, we visited the new Leonardo Da Vinci Museum, and learned about his life, and had a hands-on experience building and testing buildings with a realistic earthquake simulator, and more!
Nature's Educators taught us about Nocturnal animals on the first evening, which is cool in itself, but we saw the animals right in front of us! The fifth graders taught us about star constellations and what they mean, and some of us visited the fish hatchery and learned so much about how fish are hatched and distributed around Colorado. Some even went mountain biking with beautiful scenery all around them! The 8th graders helped make food, which was all delicious, and we acted out funny skits for everyone.
This truly was a trip to remember!
